Job Location: ?Toronto? Want to make an impact? The Country Manager - Canada will be responsible for developing our business in Canada by leading and executing the Ferrara’s International business plan. This role will oversee all aspects of Ferrara’s business in the market, including the sales and marketing strategy and plan, the A&P investment, the management of a team and the P&L as a whole, all in partnership with the International Team based in Chicago, IL. Ways you will make a difference Put together the conditions for accelerated profitable growth for the Ferrara’s business in Canada Manage all aspects of the Canadian business processes such as planning, organizing, implementing, and controlling the development of Ferrara brands. Manage and lead the sales operation, establishing best-in-class relationships with distributors and brokers in order to support and motivate them to deliver the best distribution and visibility for our brands in the retail. Continuously optimize the Route to Market model to ensure growth. Based on a solid consumer insight knowledge, propose the Marketing strategy in partnership with the International Marketing team and oversee the execution of the agreed consumer and shopper plans, including A&P planning, relationships with key advertising, media, PR and shopper agencies and monitoring of the performance. Oversee the local supply chain execution to make sure the Ferrara’s standards of execution (fill rate, stock and shelf life management) are respected Own and manage the P&L to achieve the goals of the 3Y plan in terms of top and bottom line Manage and develop a local Ferrara team of 2 employees, bringing the right guidance and training Act as the Ferrara Canada legal representative, managing our local entity as per Ferrara’s processes, adhering to all company policies and procedures. Understand and demonstrate the company’s core values.  Skills that will make you successful The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  Ability to lead and manage a business unit holistically, with a good degree of autonomy Ability to lead and manage collaborative relationships with internal and external parties within a multicultural environment and a matrix organization Strong sales and marketing experience and skills Proven strategic vision Strong negotiation skills  Results-oriented Self-starter that’s comfortable working independently and manage ambiguity Desire to operate in a fast-paced, hands-on environment Ability to learn and oversee all functions related to a business Ability to manage and develop a local team Strong creative & problem solving ability  Strong oral/written communication skills Strong analytical ability  Experiences that will support your success Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred) Minimum 15+ years of experience in consumer products in sales and marketing Experience working internationally or on an international brand preferred  Experience with the Canadian market is a requirement
