Hiring 1 candidate for this roleKey Responsibilities:
? Prepare and cook a variety of Chinese dishes, including diverse ingredients and meats, following customer orders and maintaining high standards of freshness and quality.
? Operate kitchen equipment and meat-cutting tools with expertise to efficiently prepare meals.
? Coordinate and oversee the activities of kitchen staff to ensure the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently.
? Monitor inventory levels, track ingredient usage, ensure food freshness, and promptly replenish any depleted items.
? Maintain cleanliness and organization within the kitchen and work area, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
? Plan and develop menus thoughtfully, accurately calculate portion sizes, estimate food requirements and costs, and manage inventory to align supply with customer demand.Requirements and Qualifications:
• A minimum of 1 years of cook experience and/or related kitchen experience;
• Ability to safely utilize knives and equipment.
• Ability to attend work as scheduled, working various schedules and shifts throughout normal business hours
• Ability to work to various temperature environment, for example low temperature in the refrigerator and high temperature in the cooking area
• Food Safe Handling CertificateEducational Requirements:
