Our client, Loftin Construction Management Services, provides exclusive construction management services to enhance your projects and your business. Loftin serves Southwest Ontario and beyond with strategic construction management services. We are looking to hire a BIM Manager to join Loftin’s growing team!The BIM Manager will work closely with design consultants, project teams, and contractors to oversee Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes, ensuring the successful coordination, development, and implementation of Revit models for construction projects. This role will focus on enhancing project delivery through efficient design coordination, clash detection, and the integration of construction data. This role is hybrid in Toronto or Kitchener (2-3 days on-site per week).Key Responsibilities:Develop, manage, and maintain Revit models for all project phases, from design to construction.Coordinate with design consultants and project teams to ensure BIM models meet project requirements and standards.Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts between architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical systems.Oversee and coordinate the creation and review of shop drawings to ensure alignment with BIM models.Implement site logistics planning using BIM to optimize construction workflows and schedules.Ensure compliance with BIM standards, protocols, and best practices for all team members.Support the project team in the extraction of data from models for quantity take-offs and other analysis.Collaborate with site management teams to incorporate real-time updates into the BIM model.Provide training and guidance to project staff and consultants on BIM tools and workflows.Manage BIM-related project documentation and ensure all updates are properly tracked and archived.Candidate Qualifications:Expertise in Revit and other BIM tools (e.g., Navisworks, AutoCAD).Strong understanding of clash detection processes and construction sequencing.Experience in coordinating multi-disciplinary design models.Ability to interpret construction documents and integrate them with BIM models.Familiarity with shop drawing processes, site logistics, and construction site coordination.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.At Humani, we are in the business of helping our clients build incredible workplaces, so it is important that we do the same.
