Cyber Security Architect | Newmarket

About the roleReporting to the Network Security Operations Manager, this role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security solutions that protect our IT infrastructure and the data entered, processed, and stored within them. The position also supports the business in maintaining Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability of information systems and protecting the privacy rights of data. You will utilise the NIST Cyber Security Framework to assess compliance with an industry standard framework, alongside Risk Management processes, to support continual improvement of information security policies and procedures. The role requires a deep understanding of security principles, technologies, and practices to effectively mitigate risks and respond to security incidents.Based in our Newmarket Support Office, we support a hybrid working model where you will have the opportunity to mix your environment up.Key accountabilities will include:Security Architecture and DesignSecurity Infrastructure ManagementIncident Response and ManagementThreat Intelligence and Vulnerability ManagementCompliance and Risk ManagementSecurity Awareness and TrainingAbout youYou will have at least 10 plus years of proven experience in cybersecurity or IT, with a focus on security architecture and infrastructure and configuration. With the ability to develop and lead cyber awareness programs, you will have experience with security technologies such as firewalls, SOC, SIEM, DLP, and endpoint protection. You will be familiar with regulatory requirements and industry standards, preferably NIST CSF among others.
