Responsibilities: Create purchase orders, coordinate with vendors for outside requests Participate in the Global Excellence team as a Category Manager Work to review and implement new processes and procedures Strategic sourcing Maintain supplies of all types of items including perishables and commodities Work with vendor service contracts Source new suppliers  Project management Job Requirements University or college degree in a related field, or equivalent experience SCMP certification considered an asset Minimum of 5 years’ related experience Experience purchasing in food processing or perishable environment considered an asset Understanding of contractual terms and conditions Professional communication skills Strong knowledge of ERP systems Ability to travel 1x per quarter in North America and possibly Europe  #IND1
