This role is pivotal in analyzing, designing, and implementing data solutions that support strategic decisions in our company.Participate in the conception, development, deployment and optimization of data pipelines, Data Lake, Datawarehouse for varied BI use cases (reporting, dashboards, predictive and prescriptive analysis, machine learning, automated processing).Collaborate with Business Analysts and Data Architects.Contribute to brainstorming discussions and solution definition related to information architecture and design, data collection, data analysis methodology, data integration.Prototype modern technologies and new reports for business units.Perform problem-solving and testing of hypotheses and complex analysis of data.Perform data modelling for proper analysis and insight.Document, and implement the best practices.Write and maintain unit tests, integration tests and performance tests.Provide support and guidance to colleagues, mentor junior colleagues.Analyze, identify, diagnose, document, and assist to resolve BI and Data platform issues.Deploy and merge solutions using Azure DevOps.Our tech stack includes Azure Data Lake, Databricks, Synapse, Function, PowerBI.Qualification and skillsStrong analytical and organizational skills, passion for problem-solving.Keeps informed about the latest technologies and data and analytics trends.Organized, autonomous and manage your time effectively.Bilingual (English and French)Experience in any of the following areas is a plus:Agile methodologyTransportation industryKnowledge of Azure Big Data environment5+ years hands-on data engineering experience:Coding: SQL, T-SQL, noSQL, Python, C#, R, Scala,Familiar with relational and non-relational databases,ELT/ETL: ingestion of disparate systems (through rest API, sftp, SQL databases, etc.) in Data Lake / Data Warehouse,Experience in any of the following areas is a plus:Agile methodologyTransportation industryKnowledge of Azure Big Data environment• Required working knowledge: the Azure stack: ADLS Gen 2, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, Azure Functions, Azure DevOps.• Knowledge in one of the following topics is an asset:Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), specifically BI Publisher.Sharepoint Business Data Connectivity (BDC), to create and maintain lists.Automated testingAzure ML/AIDP203 Microsoft CertificationRequired working knowledge: the Azure stack: ADLS Gen 2, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, Azure Functions, Azure DevOps.This is a full time, salaried position.
