For further information about us, please check our website at yayafoods.com A career at Ya YA FOODS will offer you the opportunity to… Build a career, not just have a jobWork in a dynamic and high-growth company with very skilled professionalsBecome part of a teamwork focused cultureBe a part of an organization that supports your future growth pathReport to: Product Project ManagerResponsibilities Manage the implementation and delivery of projects to meet client requirements.Develop project timelines using Gant Chart tools and present project status to customers, company management, and project teams.Identify and regularly communicate project updates and project risks with internal and external teams so factors can be managed to ensure successful delivery of projects for customers.Develop and track customer requirements, production volume, timing of production, and material requirementsOrganize daily, weekly, and monthly project huddles with project team.Setup customer products, raw materials, and packaging in company ERP system.Analyze market, competitive conditions, and customer experiences to fill product gaps, develop product lines, generate and appraises new ideas, and drive growth.Create long and short-term product sales forecasts and analysis for management.Bring new products to market with return-on-investment analysis and market new products with sales, advertising, and production teams.Determine product pricing based on market research, production costs and anticipated demand.Provide source data for product line communications by defining product marketing objectives.Manage the product team, including coaching and disciplinary actions, planning, monitoring and job appraisal.Observe all safety rules and promote a safe working environment with team members.Compliance with all rules & policies regarding health safety, occupational safety, environmental safety, food safety, legal regulations, company requirements, etc.Compliance with the Company's Integrated Management Systems which includes, but is not limited to Production, Quality, Food Safety & GMPOther duties as assigned.Profile Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or computer science is required1-2 years of work experience in product management or as a project manager preferably in a client-facing roleProject Management Certificate (PMP/PMC) is an assetProven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycleSkill in organization, analysis, time management, prioritization, and the ability to meet deadlines for multiple tasksProficient computer skills (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel), and instructional softwareProven ability to foster successful relationships with peers in various departments and levels of managementExcellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with various levels of managementAble to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficientlyProven and strong leadership, planning, and organization skillsGood understanding of IT and project management toolsAble to analyze and strategize for better solutionsNB: Successful candidates will be required to provide photo ID, banking details, a valid SIN number, and (if applicable) a valid work permit Why Join UsWe believe that the key to creating and growing a successful business is by investing in our people—some of whom have been a part of our team for over 25-years.
