Assistant Accounting Manager

If you are an experienced accounting professional with a background in manufacturing and a passion for driving financial performance, we want to hear from you!Advantages- Competitive base salary- Annual bonus- Health and dental program- RRSP match program- Generous vacation offering- Support for CPA annual dues as well as professional development coursesResponsibilitiesReporting to the Accounting Manager, your duties and responsibilities will include;Month-End and Year-End Closing: Lead and manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.Full Cycle Accounting: Oversee full cycle accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial statement preparation for our manufacturing processes.Accounting for Canadian Subsidiary in the USA: Handle the accounting and financial reporting requirements for our Canadian subsidiary operating in the USA, ensuring compliance with both Canadian and US regulations.ERP Systems: Utilize ERP systems to streamline accounting processes, improve data accuracy, and support overall financial management.Qualifications- Degree in Accounting or Finance - CPA designation- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Comfort in walking the plant floor and partnering with leaders- Minimum of 3 years of experience with month-end and year-end closing processes.- At least 5 years of full cycle accounting experience within a production environment (manufacturing, construction, pharma, food, etc.).- Proven experience in accounting for a Canadian subsidiary in the USA, with a strong understanding of cross-border financial regulations.- Proficiency in ERP systems, with the ability to leverage technology for efficient financial operations.SummaryIf you are an experienced accounting professional ready to take on a leadership role in a thriving manufacturing company, apply now or share with your network!Randstad Canada is committed to fostering a workforce reflective of all peoples of Canada.
