Group (Corporate) Controller

We are searching for an experienced Group Controller (Corporate Controller) behalf of our client, a global Tier 1 automotive manufacturer of components and assemblies to the automotive and other industrial markets. This position is located in the Windsor area. .This position will act as a Corporate Controller to ensure financial reporting is carried out in accordance to Company guidelines at specific divisions. This position will oversee all the accounting functions of the organizations, including accounts payable and receivable, budgeting, and other functions.RESPONSIBILITIES:Coordinates and directs the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, institutes and maintains other planning and control procedures (including the cost accounting system), and analyzes and reports variances. Responsible for preparation and review of consolidated financial reports, including balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statements, capital spending and intercompany balances.Is responsible for compliance with all federal, state, and local corporate, and other applicable taxes. Furnishes internal reports, revises and updates reports to be more useful and efficient, and furnishes external reports as necessary. Ensures that corporate accounting policies are followed by the divisions and that internal compliance measures are taken and results reported to the executive branch of the organization.The Controller has the responsibility of providing effective financial controls for the organizationThe Controller will have regular communication with all other divisional controllers including all international locationsQUALIFICATIONS: Business Degree or equivalent Designation or equivalent experienceExperience in areas such as: audit, corporate financial reporting, product valuation methods, month-end closing procedures, year-end closing procedures, external audit preparation.Ability to travel internationally is a must.Self-motivatedSelf-starterKnowledge of business KPI measurementsExperienced user of spreadsheets, powerpoint, word, and analytic applications.Multi lingual, German, Mandarin desired.International business exposure to; US, Mexico, Europe, China desired.Experience with major ERP business systems.
