Then come join this company!Title: Financial Analyst - InventoryLocation: Montreal (hybrid)Salary: Up to $45/hour depending on experienceDuration: 8 to 10 months, possibility of extension and permanenceAdvantagesThe Financial Analyst – Inventory position offers the following benefits:- Competitive remuneration;- Group Insurance;- Possibility of having a bonus depending on performance;- Great accounting team offering support and mentoring;- Up-to-date offices.ResponsibilitiesThe Financial Analyst - Inventory will have the following responsibilities:- Maintain and control the inventory system;- Adjust raw material inventory using the weighted average cost method;- Produce analyzes of inventory rotation, obsolescence, breakage and compile the results;- Collaborate with the different teams to ensure that financial reporting is adequate;- Identify and resolve inventory-related discrepancies;- Prepare journal entries related to inventory;- Evaluate inventories at their fair value at the end of the financial year;- Actively participate in the end-of-year audit, including providing supporting documents to the auditors for everything related to inventory;- All other related tasks.QualificationsWe are looking for the following qualifications for this role of Financial Analyst - Inventory:- Bachelor's degree in accounting;- CPA or ACCA title, a strong asset;- 3-5 years of experience in an accounting or financial analysis role;- Excellent communication skills in French and English;- Experience in a manufacturing or distribution company;- Mastery of technological tools, such as Power BI as well as advanced Excel functions.SummaryAre you interested in this financial analyst - inventory position?
