The Production Coordinator will play a crucial role in coordinating and optimizing projects through the production facility. Your primary responsibility will be to create and manage production work orders, ensuring the efficient utilization of resources while meeting production demands and organizational goals. This position requires a keen understanding of construction / production processes, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate with various departments. The ideal candidate will have experience working within a fast-paced environment and have experience with Fieldwire, Procore and Bluebeam software.Key Accountabilities:Assist in project planning, working closely with production managers in the preparation of plant flow and logistics plans.Liaise with subtrades to ensure project timelines are being met.Review scope of work for internal and external labour / trades requirements.Maintain all production-related meeting minutes.Open/close RFIs and assist in the recording and maintenance of all production-related logs.Perform document control functions in accordance with policy and procedures.Coordinate periodic photographs for relevant records.Track and manage change notices and change orders in the database.Produce internal reports related to the daily progress of projects.Track project progress at various stages and communicate with internal stakeholders.Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the Fero Code of Business Conduct.Adhere to all health and safety rules and procedures.Employee may perform other duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.Qualifications:Minimum 2 years of production experience at coordinator level within the construction industry, with preference to modular.Engineering / construction-related diploma or degree.Educational Background in Architectural Technology (College level) is an asset.Ability to demonstrate organizational, time-management and decision-making skills.Ability to manage a fluctuating workload and set priorities to meet deadlines and maintain a positive and collaborative relationship with the production team.Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.Technical aptitude, ability to read drawings and technical specifications.Proficiency in computer applications and MS Office applications (including SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)Familiarity with Fieldwire, Procore and BlueBeam is preferred.Knowledge of MS Project is an asset.Physical Requirements:Wearing PPE such as safety boots, safety vest, safety glasses and gloves.Office and plant environment.
