The Team Leads and oversees the Finance Data Management Data Services team within Global Finance & Risk Technology (GFRT). This team provides analytics and support services for Global Finance Initiatives, supporting Financial Close Processes, and offering Financial Data Management, Data Analysis, Data Quality, Data Governance, and Reporting services. The Role As a IDCC Manager, you will be responsible for managing IDCC governance processes and enhancing reporting capabilities. You will liaise with finance business analysts to assess chart of accounts (CoFA) requirements, accounting (Statutory & Regulatory Trees), new business initiatives, and ledger migrations. You will also develop statutory or regulatory reports leveraging tools like Excel, CDM, and OBI. You must thrive on challenges, have a keen eye for data analytics, and demonstrate initiative and eagerness to learn. Some of the Key Accountabilities Include: Championing a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge. Managing IDCC governance processes and meta data changes, including reviewing change requests and reflecting these changes appropriately. Participating in the IDCC Governance Committee, reviewing, evaluating, and making decisions on proposals impacting multiple business units. Developing and enhancing reporting solutions using tools like Excel, CDM and OBI. Ensuring data accuracy and integrity in regulatory and statutory reporting. Utilizing expertise in meta data to analyze, cleanse, and standardize data, creating business rules for data intake and quality improvement. Working with data platforms such as OFSAA/OBIEE. Designing data chart of account models for proof of concept. Automating operational tasks to enhance efficiency. Integrating new data pipelines. Considering the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture in day-to-day activities and decisions. Fostering a high-performance environment and contributing to an inclusive work environment. Pursuing effective and efficient operations in accordance with the Bank's Values, Code of Conduct, and Global Sales Principles, while ensuring business controls meet operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions, and conduct risk obligations. What You Will Bring to Succeed: 2+ years of experience in Accounting policy/Finance roles dealing with financial statements. Understanding of ledger and CoFA design. Strong Excel skills for data analysis and report development, as most business information is shared in Excel. Basic SQL/ACL knowledge for automation. CPA or University degree preferred. Accounting and finance knowledge to help develop reports and understand user requirements. Experience with project involvement, as significant project participation is required. Familiarity with reporting tools such as CDM, OBI, regulatory reporting, and statutory reporting. Strong communication skills to articulate problems and interact with business stakeholders. Flexibility to adapt to evolving roles, especially in data analytics and creating data quality/business rules.
