Responsibilities include evaluating and developing purchasing procedures, negotiating with suppliers, and managing staff training and performance. Additionally, the position involves planning operational logistics, purchasing equipment and services, and handling supplier claims and contract negotiations.Role & ResponsibilitiesAssess and manage daily operational activities to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.Develop and control budgets, monitoring expenditures to align with financial goals.Coordinate and streamline daily operational processes to meet organizational needs.Evaluate and verify purchase orders, claims, and contracts to ensure adherence to company policies.Recruit, train, supervise, and inspire team members to achieve operational excellence.Formulate, implement, and refine purchasing policies and procedures to optimize procurement practices.Supervise the assessment of costs and quality of goods and services to maintain high standards.Handle and resolve supplier claims and disputes, ensuring compliance and satisfaction.Procure general and specialized equipment, materials, and business services in accordance with organizational needs.Identify and document specifications for required equipment, materials, and supplies.Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions for purchases.Engage with suppliers to consult on requirements, review quotations, and determine contract stipulations.Award contracts to suitable vendors based on evaluation and negotiation outcomes.Set and manage delivery schedules to ensure timely receipt of goods and services.Monitor and track delivery progress to address any issues promptly.Liaise with clients and suppliers to resolve issues and ensure smooth operational flow.Oversee and coordinate the logistics of operations, ensuring seamless execution and delivery.Job Type: Full-timePay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per yearAdditional pay:Bonus payBenefits:Dental careDisability insuranceExtended health careLife insurancePaid time offProfit sharingRRSP matchVision careSchedule:8 hour shiftExperience:Purchasing: 5 years (required)Work Location: In person
