We are looking for a senior-level full-stack engineer, to build amazing internal products that enable our teams to scale automation, creating useful UXs to aid engineering debugging and customer support, and observing the impact of your work on your colleagues’ and users’ happiness and productivity. Core Responsibilities Leverage your expertise in frontend and backend technologies to partner with and empower a full-stack group of engineers building solutions together that meet our sellers’ challenges Provide mentorship and leadership to your team as it pertains to the design, development, and implementation of new features and enhancements to the RocketRez platform. Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Gathering functional requirements, developing technical specifications, and project & test planning Participate in code reviews, ensuring that code quality, performance, and security standards are met. Develop customer and business facing APIs Create implementation plans from requirements and designs Be responsible for API design, implementation, automated testing, and roll out. Write concise, well-organized code and sensible tests. Be responsible for the implementation of larger scale technology initiatives within the organization. Delegate work and monitor developers’ efficacy to ensure platform implementation goals. Measure and report on the throughput of software development teams Monitor and analyze platform health to support customer satisfaction Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers in an agile environment to deliver solutions that solve complex business problems. Communicate and document architectural / design changes to the other leads and the rest of the engineering team. Key Qualifications 7+ years of relevant industry (or additional academic) experience Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience Experience with automated deployment pipeline configuration, operations, and cloud-based dev ops services strongly preferred Proficiency in .Net and Java Script Previous experience managing projects from beginning to end Experience with E2E, unit, and load testing strongly preferred A desire to build beautiful, intuitive, and well-structured web applications and service oriented APIs Desire to solve hard problems An interest in fostering environments of learning, collaboration, and trust within your team About RocketRez RocketRez is a global technology company providing all-in-one-solutions for the Travel, Tour, and Attractions industry.
