Family Physician

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Medicine Physician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages, focusing on preventive care, diagnosis, and treatment of various health conditions. This role requires a strong commitment to patient-centered care and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team in both hospital and home care settings. Responsibilities: Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations. Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, ensuring appropriate medication administration. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences. Provide preventive care services, including immunizations and health screenings. Utilize MedAccess or similar electronic health record systems for data collection and documentation. Collaborate with specialists for referrals and coordinate care for complex cases. Educate patients and their families about health management, medication use, and lifestyle changes. Participate in research initiatives to enhance clinical practices and patient outcomes. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and advancements in family medicine. Skills: Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and effective communication. Experience in hospital settings as well as home care environments is preferred. Proficiency in using electronic health record systems such as MedAccess for efficient documentation. Ability to perform data collection accurately for ongoing patient assessments. Knowledge of medication administration protocols and acute care practices. Familiarity with pediatrics is a plus, enabling comprehensive family-focused healthcare delivery. Strong analytical skills for research purposes and improving clinical practices.
