The Director, Member & Client Relations and Underwriting is responsible for the management of the operations under the VP Direct Insurance, Commercial lines, the optimization of its capacity, its processes and its expertise to respond to the needs of our commercial members and clients nationally. More specifically, you will be required to: Optimize the end-to-end client experience by simplifying its processes and promoting greater agent autonomy in underwriting and selling insurance.Optimize the support model for Exclusive Agents adapted to their reality to offer them optimal support in achieving our profitable growth ambitions and to respect their uniqueness in our distribution model.Support the Vice-Presidency in defining strategic directions. Be able to contribute to the strategies of a rapidly transforming sector with strong growth ambitions and effectively manage multiple priorities.Develop and implement the business plan within the administrative department and manage its performance to maximize business results and ensure member and client satisfaction.Ensure that distribution methods and business development under his or her direction adjust and evolve to perform in line with the growth strategy.Adjust and evolve the model to be in line with changing client needs, including the digital evolution.Implement practices that promote change management, attraction and retention, and the development of talent in line with values.Anticipate and minimize operational risks to ensure sustainable, scalable performance. What you bring to the table Bachelor’s degree in related field.A minimum of eleven years of relevant experience, including five years senior management experience.Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered.Experience in managing customer-focused teams that have different distribution models, such as Client Relationship Centres, Operations, Business Development.Experience in operational efficiency, including capacity management and process optimization.Experience with data-driven decision-making approaches.Experience operating and leading a team within commercial lines.Expert proficiency in English and intermediate knowledge of French due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients.Available for occasional travel between offices (approximately 6 times/year).
