Role: Senior IT Project Manager

Location: Remote/Onsite Fredericton, NB, Canada

Duration: 12 Months Contract with the possibility of 1 year extension.

Remote is an option for the successful candidate upon approval from the Business Application Services Director and may be revoked at any time during the engagement in which case the successful candidate would be required onsite (Fredericton, NB).

Mandatory Requirements

• Excellent communication skills (demonstrated Oral and written) in English.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience.
• A minimum of 8 years of clearly demonstrated and verifiable experience in Information Management/Information Technology.
  
  

Scored Requirements

• 8 years of demonstrated work experience as a Senior IT Project Manager working in IT system development and support, including impact on business processes and organizational security.
• 6 years of demonstrated work experience as a Senior IT Project Manager working on medium to large complex IT systems. Clearly indicate size, complexity and what makes these projects complex.
• 6 years of demonstrated work experience using agile methodology, running scrum meetings, using Epics, Features and Stories.
• 8 years of demonstrated work experience working with, and leading cross functional business and technical teams that include a mix of in-house and external resources and stakeholders. Indicate the work type, amount, duration and scope.
• 2 years of demonstrated experience in the Early Childhood Development domain, within any jurisdiction in North America.
• 5 years of demonstrated work experience in project organizational change management. I.e. successfully transitioning project work activities and knowledge to operational teams. Include details of the project size and complexity, length of project and transition strategy used.
• PMI, PRINCE2 or other industry-recognized project management accreditation would be considered an asset. Indicate which accreditation and relevant dates.
• 8 years of demonstrated experience with the use of Microsoft Office tools such as Word and Excel, SharePoint, Visio, Project and communication technology such as Skype, Zoom, or Teams.
