The Development Analyst plays a critical role in driving strategic growth by identifying and evaluating potential investment opportunities, mergers, and acquisitions. They provide essential financial analysis and due diligence support, ensuring informed decision-making for senior management. Their expertise in market research and data management helps align corporate strategies with industry trends and competitive dynamics, directly contributing to the company's long-term success.Your key responsibilities:Conduct in-depth research on industry trends, competitor activities, and potential investment opportunities.Develop and execute financial models, including valuations for mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives.Support the due diligence process by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting critical data for potential deals.Manage, organize, and analyze large datasets relevant to corporate development strategies.Create comprehensive reports and presentations, detailing findings and strategic recommendations for the corporate development team and senior management.Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary information and ensure alignment with corporate strategies.Assist in managing and tracking ongoing corporate development projects.Continuously enhance your knowledge of the mining sector and corporate development practices.Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related field.1-3 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, or a related field.
