Job Description:

This position manages responses to security incidents to minimize risk, loss and injury to Company employees, customers and assets. Responds to incoming calls from security vendors, police agencies, HSBC employees and other sources identifying security related problems. Analyzes information, determines course of action and initiates to effective conclusion by other parties. Provide incident management advice and/or support as needed and ensure that security incidents and breaches are responded to and managed effectively and that the relevant authorities are informed within necessary timeframes.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ad hoc Queries
  • Identify and escalate issues
  • Coordinate EACS recertification
  • Understand and adhere to established policies and procedures in own team
  • Coordinate pre-planned /ad hoc manned guarding
  • Management of maintenance programme
  • Coordinate MI
  • Co-ordinate projects; typically working on smaller projects/assignments
  • Manage physical security systems – EACS, SVS, IDS
  • CCTV Requests Branches, HO, LE
  • Provide physical security guidance /direction to various businesses within the organization
  • Surveillance Video administration
  • Supporting the Head of Protective Security in managing and executing the Physical Security Program
  • Investigate and Prepare security incident reports
  • Support change initiatives
  • CCTV – Quality Assurance reviews
  • Assist Protective Secuirty Area Security Managers in delivery of larger projects

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and monitor and observe on multiple surveillance cameras
  • Minimum of an associates degree in business, criminal justice, related field or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency with personal computers as well as pertinent mainframe systems and software packages, including ability to work on multiple systems simultaneously
  • Proven decision-making, supervisory, persuasion, analytical, organizational, planning and customer service skills; excellent visual, auditory and written communications skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Minimum of three years proven physical security experience
