Accounts Receivable Technician - Belron Canada

At Belron Canada, the home office of Speedy Glass, Lebeau vitres d’auto and Vanfax, we take this seriously, which is why we invest tirelessly in developing our people to realize their full potential.We welcome applications from everyone and are firmly committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace, taking pride in ensuring every member of our team feels empowered.Under the supervision of the Customer Accounts-Insurance Team Leader, the holder of the collection technician position is responsible for following up with customers to ensure payment of overdue invoices.RESPONSIBILITIESEnsure the recovery of “insurance” customer accounts in accordance with established procedures and internal control rules;Analyze the accounts according to the payment terms and initiate the recovery procedure within the required time frame;Perform analysis and reconciliation of customer accounts;Keep recovery comments up to date in the computer system;Codify and escalate disputed invoices;Follow up with sales teams regarding overdue accounts;Make adjustments and journal entries to accounts receivable, if necessary;Carry out customer reimbursement requests and check their validity;Answer customer questions, either by telephone or email;Establish and maintain good relationships with our customers;Provide a status of the resolution of pending files with your team leader;Follow up on various pending files;Participate in various process improvement projects.REQUIREMENTSDEC in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.Three (3) to five (5) years of collection experience.Perfect command of English and French, both oral and written.Good knowledge of the MS Office suite: Strong knowledge of Excel.Results oriented.Have a concern for customer service.Ability to analyze and establish priorities.Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.Demonstrate professional ethics.Initiative, rigor, and autonomy.Ease of working on different computer systems.Availability and flexibility in working hours (possibility of teleworking).We believe that genuine care can make a real difference in the customer experience, and it begins with making a difference in the careers of our team members.If you value your career as we value our employees and our customers, there’s no better time to join Belron Canada and #BringOutYourBest with us! #J-18808-Ljbffr
