Warehouse Technician

Our client, an Oil & Gas company, is seeking a Warehouse Technician to work a 6-month contract in Cochrane, AB. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Supply Chain Management (SCM), with a specific focus on materials management. This role requires a strong understanding of inventory processes, including counting, shipping, and receiving.Key Responsibilities:Manage and maintain inventory levels, ensuring accuracy in material counts and records.Coordinate shipping and receiving processes, including the inspection and documentation of incoming and outgoing shipments.Support materials management processes, ensuring efficient and effective handling of goods.Utilize inventory management systems and software to track and report on inventory status.Operate forklifts, skid steers, and telehandlers for material handling (certification provided if required).Qualifications:5-10 years of experience in Supply Chain Management (SCM).Experience with material master data and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) is highly desirableProficiency in Microsoft Office applications.Knowledge of SAP is advantageous but not mandatory.Understanding of fundamental materials management processes, including inventory counting, shipping, and receiving.Valid forklift certification is a strong asset.Valid skid steer and telehandler certification preferred; training and certification will be provided if necessary.
