Web Architect

On behalf of our client, Transport Canada, we are recruiting for an Web Architect as part of a project to support key transformation initiatives related to IT systems and infrastructure. Deliverables will include The Web Architect (Level 3), will provide deliverables associated with Level 2 tasks as well as take on a leadership role and will be required for more complex requirements that will include but are not limited to: · Define architecture to be used in web-based projects. · Perform architectural modeling to ensure consistency of the design with existing work. · Select the development language to be used for the project. · Assess the impact of the new requirements on existing web applications. · Ensure functionalities have been implemented according to specifications · Define assumptions and constraints of architecture with regard to physical structure and data collection. Qualifications · 10 years of experience within the past 15 years as a Web Architect · Expertise in a Microsoft environment including, but not limited to, the following: · Front-End Development: o Python ` o Accessibility standards including WCAG 2.x. · Back-End Development: o .NET 6.0 or higher o Object Relational Mapping (ORM). · Data Management and Analytics: o Microsoft SQL Server o Oracle Database o Querying and stored procedures via T-SQL, PL/SQL, Postgres o Power BI. · Cloud Platforms: o Cloud development and architecture using Microsoft Azure. o Various Azure services including; Active Directory, API Management, App Service, Application Services, Blob Storage, Databricks, Data Factory, Data Lake Storage, DevOps, Event Grid, Functions, Key Vault, Logic Apps, Mobile Apps, Multi Factor Authentication, PostgreSQL, Service Bus, SQL Database, Virtual Machines, VPN Gateway. o Microsoft 365 (Microsoft Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, One Drive, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Planner, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Visio). o Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Power BI, Dataverse, Data Connectors). o Microsoft Dynamics 365. · Security and Compliance: o Azure Identity Framework. o Government of Canada External Credential Management via GCKey and Interac Sign-In. o Entrust Identity Guard.
