Director, Legal - 5-7 Years (Real Estate Transactions)Downtown Toronto (Hybrid)ALT has partnered with a development company (backed by a pension fund) to hire for a new and unique role. The company is looking for a Director of Legal to join the team. As the sole in-house counsel, you will have the unique opportunity to collaborate extensively with top-tier external counsel from leading firms, bring some work in-house, work alongside top-notch business minds, and serve as the corporate secretary to the Board. The project is exciting, and the team is very passionate.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least five years of commercial real estate experience from a large Bay Street law firm to transition in-house, be part of a team, and continue working on complex transactions without docketing. The head office is located in the downtown core, and working from home is available two days a week.
