Temporary payroll technician

I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent on the Island of Montreal. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and operates in your world. We cover accounting, finance and payroll. I'm looking for a Payroll Technician for a company in the sports & entertainment sector in the heart of downtown. This is a temporary position for 4 months. - Complete payroll cycle; - Produce payroll according to specific cycles; - Manage employee files; - Calculate retroactive or other special payments; - Respond to questions and requests from employees, managers and external organizations regarding payroll data; - Verify timesheets and make corrections according to labor standards; - Complete various Excel reports (government remittances, etc.); - Prepare records of employment; - Ensure compliance and integrity of information; - All other related tasks. - DEC in accounting; - Minimum 2-3 years experience in a similar position; - Experience in payroll production affected by collective agreements; - Excellent knowledge of the Office suite, intermediate level with Excel; - Rigorous and autonomous; - Excellent organizational skills, able to prioritize and manage numerous tasks at once; - Ability to analyze and synthesize; - A.C.P. certification from the Canadian Payroll Association; - Excellent written and oral communication skills in both French and English.
