Production Coordinator Local building envelope manufacturer

The successful candidate will be part of the production team.

Responsibilities will include all aspects of co-ordination to support and fulfill the production schedule at a busy sheet metal and aluminum fabrication facility servicing the architectural industry throughout North America. Experience in the sheet metal industry an asset.

Production duties

1. Experience with inventory tracking
2. Conducting Safety talks and reports to ensure a safe work environment
3. Assisting with schedule and material procurement and logistics
4. Coordination with customers and project managers for onsite delivery
5. Experience with CNC equipment and fabrication equipment an asset
6. Experience with machine setup such as Roller, Turret Punch, Shear, and Press Brake an asset as well as tooling and machine maintenance
7. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and AutoCAD skills an asset
8. Ability to work within a team atmosphere to meet production goals and targets and keep material costs on or below required budgets
9. Experience in Microsoft Office suite and Excel as well as aptitude for learning production-related software to support production
10. Excellent communication and organization skills required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44 per week
