On behalf of our well-established tier 1 automotive client, we are pleased to be recruiting for a Key Account Manager. This role will appeal to those individuals looking for the opportunity to put their business development skills to work in an environment that encourages innovation, teamwork and rewards accomplishment.Position DescriptionDevelop, maintain and establish new client partnerships at major North American OEMsFurther develop existing OEM relationshipsIntegrate and meet expectations of the Sales & Marketing plan for each fiscal yearNorth American travel to Automotive OEM clients and prospectsPosition ResponsibilitiesIdentify and develop new business opportunities with automotive OEM targets. Maintain and further develop existing client relationships. Responsible for managing all RFQ activities including:-Part costing and developing proposals-Defining target prices-Negotiations and proposal development- Purchase order acquisitionLead the Claim Management Process for specific customer accounts. Competition and market planning and evaluation activities.Education and ExperienceUniversity education: ideally an Engineering or Business Administration degree. Minimum of 8 years’ experience developing in Automotive OEM relationships. Plastic Injection Mold process knowledge will be considered an assetCompensation The successful candidate will be offered an attractive six-figure base compensation package with bonus, benefit, pension and relocation assistance provisions.
