.Contract Business AnalystOn behalf of our client Procom is seeking a Business Analyst for a 12 month contract in dowtown Calgary Alberta.Contract Business Analyst Job DetailsOur Client is hiring a technical and business-focused Contract Business Analyst. This role will report to a CPMO project manager and work closely with several teams to upgrade the Land and Well Management applications, apply Financial and Master Data changes, and integrate with the financial system. The successful candidate will be assigned to the Core Optimization Program, Land and Well Management scope, enabled through the implementation of selected solutions.- Work independently with users to define concepts or workflows under the direction of a project manager.- Successfully engage, drive, and facilitate multiple initiatives and deliverables simultaneously.- Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements.- Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task, and workflow analysis.- Develop requirements specifications according to standard templates, using natural language.- Partner with vendor services to document configuration requirements.- Collaborate with project team members, including subject matter experts, to establish the technical vision and analyze trade-offs between usability and performance needs.- Partner with Business-focused analysts and vendor services to map data fields.- Lead and participate in process reviews or development and updates to or creation of associated documentation working with stakeholders.- Deliver and/or participate in standards, policies, or process education and awareness.- Be the liaison between the project teams, technology teams, and support teams.- Manage and execute on required stakeholder and client engagement across project deliverables to support project plan and scope outline.- Work closely with the People Readiness team (OCM, Communications, Learning) to help identify/validate stakeholder change impacts, provide technical review of communications, and contribute to training curriculum and learning content.- Participate in Transition to Operations scope and activities.Contract Business Analyst Mandatory Skills- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.- At least 10 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar capacity.- Direct working experience or project experience in business areas or functions.- Oil & Gas/Energy Upstream Land and Well Management industry experience would be considered an asset.- Organization and relationship-building skills.- Highly effective communicator.- Displays emotional intelligence; demonstrates self-awareness and remains calm under pressure.Contract Business Analyst Start Date2024-07-02Contract Business Analyst LocationCalgary, Alberta, Canada (Hybrid)
