Built on the foundation of the owners combined local experience of over 30 years, Rockhill Contracting is looking to expand in multiple sectors and offer a wide range of clients the best possible service for their landscape construction and small civil projects. We are a young and growing company with aims to become an industry leader in the next 5 years. Most of all, we want our staff to be happy, satisfied with an honest day's work and make sure you have a laugh or two along the way. Position: Landscape Construction – Skilled LaborerDuties of the position include, but are not limited to, the following: -       Assisting senior staff complete various landscape tasks such as:-       Unit paving & unit block walls-       Preparation of garden beds-       Planting of shrubs, trees, flowers and installation of lawns-       Movement and grading of bulk materials and aggregates-       Trenching and installation of irrigation and drainage piping-       Carpentry including fencing & decking Requirements of the position include:-       Work safely & follow company OHS policy-       Maintain good attendance & punctuality-       Follow instruction from senior staff-       Demonstrate initiative & motivation to complete assigned tasks-       Completes assigned tasks at productivity level required/communicated by senior staff-       Represent Rockhill Contracting in positive manner on site & with clients and customers-       Specific skills included but not limited to:o  Complete work unsupervised or as part of a crewo  Experience laying and cutting unit paving and block wallso  Ability to operate electrical and gas-powered tools effectively and safelyo  Experience in grading, irrigation, landscape carpentryAdditional:-       Regularly/repetitively lift & move heavy items & bulk materials-       Work in all weather conditions year round-       Be willing to get to job sites around lower mainland-       Valid driving license We thank all applicants for their interest in our Company and regret only those shortlisted candidates will be contacted. Rockhill Contracting is an equal opportunity employer.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $26-32 per hourBenefits:·       Overtime Pay·       Company Profit sharing·       Company sponsored eventsSchedule:·       10 hour shift·       8 hour shift
