Opportunity DetailsLeverageTek is actively seeking a Senior O365 Application Specialist for a permanent position with its Ottawa-based customer.Work LocationThe successful candidate will be required to work 1-2x/week on-site at the customer headquarters in Ottawa, ON.Security RequirementMust be eligible for a Government of Canada Enhanced Reliability Clearance.Key TasksProvide technical leadership for the maintenance and implementation of Microsoft 365 solution with focus on Teams and SharePointWork with product owners to design and deploy new Microsoft 365 solutions such as Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Planner, Microsoft Power Automate among others to improve ways of working in the organizationDesign and implement governance, policies including but not limited to retention policies, records management, access reviewsCreate detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and identify knowledge transfer opportunities for 1st and 2nd line supportManage Updates, Releases, Deprecation and Patches for Teams and SharePointResearch new M365 solutions and advise on their business value/alignment to technical roadmapsSetup Automation alerts to monitor and track changes, usage and resource consumption for SharePoint and TeamsAssist with training and adoption of new Microsoft 365 solutions and processes including delivery & creation of training plans, materials, and documentation.Develop and deploy Teams and SharePoint automation workflows as well as maintenance of existing workflowsSharePoint integration with other business apps such as Dynamics 365, Dataverse etc.Provide technical and 3rd level support for users on SharePoint, Teams, and Office 365Manage, configure, and evaluate security and access control for Teams and SharePointWork with other IS Division teams for new and existing integration points (CRM, Biztalk, Service Now, etc.)Monitor SharePoint performance and troubleshooting issuesCollaborate with other developers and stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business needsKey Qualifications7+ years experience in software development, support and maintenanceExperience and expertise with MS Office (Teams, SharePoint), Microsoft Planner, SharePoint Online and Workflow, Power Apps and AutomateExperience in the development and deployment of Teams and SharePoint automation workflows as well as maintenance of existing workflowsQualificationsUniversity degree of college diploma in Software Development, Computer ProgrammingExperience in the implementation and delivery of Office 365Technical expertise in the following:Office 365: Microsoft Teams, SharePointSharePoint Online and Workflow automationPower Apps and AutomateMicrosoft Graph APIsAzure ADAzure (App Service, Azure Functions and Logic Apps)PowerShell, TerminalsPower BISQL Server (on-prem and Azure)Restful Services (Json, Soap, OData)Knowledge of Dynamics 365One DriveClient focus, excellent communication, innovation, teamwork and leadershipBenefitsHealth Benefits: Drug coverage, healthcare spending account, virtual care (telemedicine), Employee and Family Assistance Program, mental health support, travel insurance, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance and accidental death and dismemberment coverage.Work Life Balance: A wide range of paid/unpaid leave, including paid vacation, family related leave and personal days.Retirement Planning: A Defined Benefit Pension Plan and Group Savings Plans.Learning and Development: Tuition Assistance Program and Advanced Learning Program, payment of professional association memberships, online learning opportunities and second language training.Perks: Discounts through CF One Member Appreciation.Thank you for taking the time to apply!
