We’re currently supporting a profitable ecommerceholdco with an exciting Finance Leadopportunity. The Finance Lead is a critical role that will owntwo core areas: the controllership function of the brands, as well as consutling on capital allocation decisions at the holdco level.
Core responsibilities include:
Develop and optimize financial models to better understand and evaluate potential acquisition targets and internal capital allocation desicions.
Work as a functional financial controller at head office and for our companies to solidify our forecasting and reporting process.
Assist portfolio leadersin thestrategic finance work to help them better manage their business.
Manage day-to-day financial operations and work closely with various departments for regular reports.
Ensure adherence to financial best practices and compliance with accounting standards.
Implement and maintain robust financial processes for scalability and onboarding of new team members.
Theideal candidate has hands-on experience in a finance role in a startup environment.We expect this individual to be self-driven, self-motivated, and capable of charting their own path. Background-wise, we’re looking for someone who has CA orCPA credentials with about 5-7 years working in the field andis looking for a more dynamic and challenging environment. Salary for this role is 90-120k base,
