This role involves overseeing the brand's image and ensuring consistency across all marketing channels. This position will manage customer loyalty programs, plan and evaluate multi-channel campaigns, conduct market research, and manage the marketing budget. Additionally, they will ensure compliance with industry regulations, lead the marketing team, and maintain key partnerships while staying updated on emerging marketing trends and technologies.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership and Brand ManagementDevelop and execute comprehensive marketing and loyalty strategies to drive customer acquisition, retention, and brand loyalty.Lead the marketing team to achieve business objectives, ensuring alignment with overall company goals.Oversee the development and management of the brand’s image, voice, and positioning in the cannabis retail market.Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels and customer touchpoints.Customer Loyalty and EngagementDesign, implement, and manage customer loyalty programs to enhance customer engagement and retention.Analyze customer data and behavior to optimize loyalty initiatives and improve customer lifetime value.Marketing Campaigns and Digital PresencePlan, execute, and evaluate multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, email, and in-store promotions.Enhance the company’s digital footprint through effective SEO, content marketing, and social media strategies.Drive online engagement and traffic through compelling and relevant content.Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies to deliver impactful marketing initiatives.Market Research and AnalysisConduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.Use data-driven insights to inform marketing strategies and decision-making.Budget and Compliance ManagementDevelop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.Monitor and report on marketing expenditures and campaign performance.Ensure all marketing activities comply with industry regulations and standards, particularly in the cannabis sector.Stay updated on changes in marketing laws and guidelines affecting the cannabis industry.Team Leadership and CollaborationRecruit, train, and mentor marketing team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.Set clear goals and performance expectations, conducting regular evaluations and providing feedback.Build and maintain relationships with key partners, vendors, and stakeholders.Collaborate with sales, product development, and customer service teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives.Innovation and Performance MonitoringStay abreast of emerging marketing trends and technologies, integrating innovative approaches into marketing strategies.Identify new opportunities for growth and competitive advantage in the cannabis market.Regularly review and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.Use KPIs and metrics to measure success and inform future strategies.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or a related field.7+ years of experience in marketing or a related field.Proven experience in marketing leadership roles, preferably in the cannabis retail industry or a related field.Cannabis industry or retail environment experience an assetSelf-motivated and detail-orientedHighly flexible, with strong interpersonal skills to work effectively in a diverse working environment.Strong understanding of digital marketing, brand management, and customer loyalty programs.Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive decisions.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Creative thinker with a strategic mindset.Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in the cannabis industry.Leadership experience with a track record of developing and managing high-performing teams.Compensation & Benefits:Salary Range: $110,000 - $135,000Casual dressDental careExtended health carePaid time offStore discount
