The department comprises with 2 main groups the Closers responsible for setting up the deal in the bank’s system (LIQ) and the servicers who manage the loan administration: notices, funding, interests & fees.What will be your day-to-day?As a transversal expert for the Servicing team, you will focus on supporting the Structured Finance department, ensuring operational performance and efficiency across the perimeter. Your key responsibilities include:Assisting production teams as needed and providing technical support to build expertise within the STR Servicing teamsReviewing, verifying, and authorizing daily loan transactions, including Money Market, Commercial Paper, Non-performing, and Direct/Agented facilitiesOverseeing the review and approval of loan forms for new borrowings, increases, rollovers, pay-downs, and commitment reductions, as well as daily approvals of loan proceedsEnsuring proper reconciliation of interest, commitment fees, and investigating any discrepanciesContributing to the improvement of AMER processes and aligning STR processes globally, with a focus on data quality, payments, event management, and key performance indicators (KPIs)Supporting the STR manager in monitoring STR Servicing processes and data quality through various system-generated reportsServing as a Subject Matter Expert and preferred point of contact for related projectsEnsuring comprehensive process documentation and team training to maintain high standardsSkills and qualifications:Must Have:Proficiency in Loan IQ (LIQ Loan System) and experience servicing syndicated deals as an agentStrong understanding of loan products and cash payment principles in USD and foreign currenciesAdvanced Excel skillsA minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial lending using Loan IQ, with exposure to diverse portfolios (agency/syndicated loans)Knowledge of financial products, especially loans, guarantees, and standby letters of creditCompetencies:Strong analytical and reconciliation skills with attention to detail and accuracyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSelf-confidence, the ability to work independently, and strong organizational and time management skillsA team player who collaborates effectivelyLanguages: French, EnglishThe ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, is a requirement as the person in this position will be expected to collaborate regularly with colleagues and partners in the United States.Due to US Federal Securities law applying to this position, candidates who will apply for this position will be required to submit to an enhanced background screening, including the collection of their fingerprints by a third-party vendor selected by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (“FINRA”).OUR BENEFITS:Competitive compensation & benefits offering, including but not limited to:Minimum of 20 Vacation days + 4 personal daysSupportive Maternity, paternity, parental and adoption leave policyHealth spending ($2,000/year) and personal spending ($1,000/year) accounts with 75+ eligible reimbursement categories (health, training, electronics etc.)Fully sponsored virtual healthcare assistance and Employee Assistance Program to you and your immediate familyVarious Employee Resource Groups (ERG) to engage with such as Pride and Allies, American Women Network, Black Leadership Network, One planet, etc.A culture of continuous development by encouraging our employees various training programs (online training and coaching platform such as Coursera, GoFluent, Pluralsight, First Finance, and others)OUR CULTURE:At Societe Generale, we live by our 4 core values of commitment, responsibility, team spirit and innovation.
