Job Requirements / Description

Changepain Medical and Allied Health Clinic is seeking an experienced, tech-savvy, nimble, creative, and highly organized individual with strong finance and talent development skills to lead clinic operations towards the next phase of operational growth in delivering optimal and effective pain care.

Who are we?

After 10 years in operations, in January 2024, we have relocated to our nature-inspired healing home in Burnaby where we meet the highest College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC accreditation standards for pain procedures and infusion therapy and our new facility fully meets the CSA Z-8000 HCF C-1 healthcare facility standards servicing category 2 procedures. We are the largest innovative interdisciplinary Pain and Rehab Centre in Western Canada, specializing in individualized whole person pain and rehabilitation care. Using advanced neuroscience-based therapies, our highly experienced team of Doctors and Allied Health practitioners are passionate about helping people optimize brain and body performance, functional recovery, well-being and vitality. We support MSP, extended care, and private pay services to reduce the development of chronic pain before it happens and find ways to alleviate it when it impacts quality of life. As an active training facility with the University of British Columbia, we are also a research center focused on treatment effectiveness and reducing barriers to care.

This is a truly unique and varied role. As the Clinic Operations Manager, you and the multi-dimensional leadership team will run the operations for this fast-paced, cutting-edge and growing clinic. You will oversee clinic procedures and workflows including clinician and patient scheduling, data management, and support compliance with healthcare regulations and medical ethics. In collaboration with the operations team, this role is also responsible for finance, information technology, marketing, facilities, and talent development activities for the clinic.

Importantly, this is an exciting opportunity to work closely with the original Founders, Medical Director and Board of Directors for long-term planning and clinic services expansion. You will bring your creative and innovative ideas to advance service delivery, and your diverse organizational experience to steward sustainable growth in creating effective and accessible services.

Who are you?

As the ideal candidate, you will practice compassion and empathy in your work and be motivated by making a difference in the lives of others. You will be a highly effective people leader and mentor who will support a culture founded on trust, respect, continuous learning, open communication and team collaboration. You are excited by our pursuit of excellence and conscious healthcare solutions.

Your university degree in Business, Health Care Management or a related subject will complement a minimum of 5 years' related experience.

Superior organizational skills, communication skills and high attention to detail will be essential as will the ability to collaborate as part of a team. To express your interest in this exciting opportunity, please apply with your resume and cover letter.

Job Types: Permanent Full Time

Compensation: $75,000- $90,000 Annually, potentially higher commensurate with experience + Extended Health Benefits + 3 Weeks Paid Time Off
