Role:

The Enterprise Architect will work closely with senior IT and business team members to define goals, objectives, and plans for enterprise and solution design and implementation. The Enterprise Architect will be responsible for designing, selecting, and implementing enterprise-wide solutions that align with the organization's business objectives and IT strategy. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of enterprise and data architecture principles, software development methodologies, and cloud technologies, along with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.


Planning and Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT leaders to define business requirements and IT strategies that drive the development of enterprise architecture solutions.
  • Support planning for program initiatives by working with the senior IT and business team and other team members.
  • Define goals, objectives, and plans for enterprise and solution design and implementation activities.
Problem Resolution and Guidance:
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring that solutions are designed, implemented, and deployed according to best practices and industry standards.
  • Conduct architecture reviews and assessments to identify risks, issues, and opportunities for improvement, and propose solutions to address them.
  • Provide guidance to ensure compliance with enterprise architecture.
Architectural Development:
  • Develop architectural framework based on business requirements and IT strategies.
  • Lead the development of solution architecture blueprints, including system components, integration points, data flows, and deployment models.
  • Evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and frameworks that support the development of scalable, reliable, and secure solutions.
Communication and Alignment:
  • Communicate and align technology with IT staff, management, community sites, and project teams.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, developers, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business goals and technical solutions
  • Promote interoperability and exchange across the environment.
Expert Consultation:
  • Provide expert advice and consultation by performing analysis and formulating recommendations for proposed technology changes.
  • Provide input into application development and the use of new technology for inclusion in the technology architecture.
  • Advise senior management on technology alternatives and solutions.
Digital Platform and Solution Adoption:
  • Provide advice and direction related to the adoption of digital platforms.
  • Define and enforce architecture governance processes, standards, and policies that govern the design, implementation, and evolution of solutions.
  • Ensure the platform can integrate with various existing systems and technologies.
Requirements:
  • The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or other related filed and at least 7 years relevant work experience.

  • Experience with Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Warehouse Management is an asset.
  • Strong forward-thinking, analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts to non-subject matter experts and build consensus among diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven success inarchitecting solutions from business, conceptual, logical, and physical levels.
  • Experience with Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Warehouse Management is an asset.
  • Strong forward-thinking, analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts to non-subject matter experts and build consensus among diverse stakeholders.

$135,000 - $150,000 a year
