And you recognize that behind all great accomplishments is a team working together to solve problems through a learning culture and innovation.A typical day for the Organizational Development ConsultantThe Organizational Development (OD) Consultant acts as an agent of change for the organization and will play a key role in the planning and implementation of best practice for Organizational Development and Change Management solutions. These solutions range from client-specific or company-wide organizational effectiveness interventions that address issues such as change management, succession planning, leadership and career development, organizational design, team building, conflict resolution, and culture change.Reporting to the Manager of Organizational Development & Education, the OD Consultant will focus on the people side of change, including organizational culture change and play an active role in developing, delivering and evaluating OD programs that support the strategic priorities of APS. As part of the Human Resources and Organizational Development team the OD Consultant will support the development and implement change management plans and strategies that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance. To be successful in this role, the OD Consultant will build relationships at all levels of the organization. As a trusted expert, the OD Consultant will provide insights and support that builds capacity in leaders at all levels, both formal and informal.Additionally, the OD Consultant will support the design, development, delivery and evaluation of Organizational Development services that align with and support the achievement of APS’ strategic plan and desired culture including:Employee EngagementLeadership DevelopmentDiversity and InclusionBuilding a Coaching CultureChange and Transition ManagementPerformance DevelopmentWhat you bringMaster’s degree in organizational development, business, human resources or organizational psychologyThree to five years of experience providing organizational development and internal consultation and facilitation in a complex organizationA combination of education and experience may be consideredCertification in change and transition management, project management, executive coaching, or personality assessment administrationFormal training in leadership development approaches, group facilitation or organizational effectivenessCertification in coaching is considered an assetCertification in Emotional Intelligence (EQ-I 2.0 and EQ 360 and/or Dare to Lead certified would be considered an assetWhy choose APSAPS is made up of hard-working, respectful and talented people who understand and invite diversity to the workplace.
