Job Description:Job Description We are looking for dedicated and hardworking individuals to join a construction team in the Halton Hills area. Responsibilities:Perform various manual labour tasks to support construction projects Tasks include:Load, unload, and transport construction materialsErect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricadesMix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphaltAssist the medical examiner in chargeHelp align pipes during pipeline constructionAssist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sitesLevel earth to fine grade specificationsPave and rake asphaltAssist in demolishing buildingsClean and pile salvaged materialsClean up chemical spills and other contaminantsRemove rubble and other debris from construction sitesTend or feed machines or equipment used in constructionDirect traffic at or near construction sites Requirements:Ability to perform physically demanding tasksWillingness to work in various weather conditionsStrong work ethic and reliabilityPrevious experience in construction is an asset but not requiredSafety-conscious attitudeAbility to follow instructions and work as part of a team Applicant must be a resident in Ontario, CanadaApplicant must be legally entitled to work in CanadaPosition is not suitable for International Students Company Description VPI is working with the employer to find suitable candidates and help fill this position.
