The Warehouse Manager will manage the warehouse operations and facilities.ECS Core Values:Hire and retain the most qualified individuals.Ensure continuous training for all employees.Create a safe, satisfying and rewarding environment for our employees.Develop enhanced customer services through advancements.Create consistent, sustainable and profitable growth through customer, vendor and employee relationships built on service excellence, honesty and integrity.What Your Day May Look Like:Manage warehouse personnel, ensure adequate training.Ensure receipt of incoming shipments are complete in a timely fashion including associated paperwork.Load and unload materials and supplies using available equipment.Record deliveries and pickups.Responsible for the return of any goods (including reels) to suppliers and keep records of such shipments.Add freight charges to packing slips if applicable.Responsible for inventory discrepancies and records of action taken.Procure warehouse supplies within corporate policies.Arrange for maintenance of machinery.Determine appropriate places for storage.Maintain a safe and efficient warehouse in all conditions.Assist Branch Manager with performance assessments.Cutting and picking of orders when necessary.Assist and participate in the preparation and completion of inventory counts.Maintain a clean and safe working environment for self and others.Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.What You Will Need to Succeed:Two (2) years technical or junior college degreeFive (5) years broad warehouse/distribution experienceSome supervisory/manager experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Knowledge of inventory control and warehousing procedures.Excellent problem solving skillsAbility to load and unload materials.Must be able to lift and move up to 50lbs, bend, squat and stand.Ability to manage an inventory system.Must be able to operate a forklift.Ability to assign and direct the work of employees.Be aware of your surroundings including mental, physical, visual and environmental conditions. #J-18808-Ljbffr
