CANADIAN BAND ASSOCIATIONONTARIO CHAPTER We have been in existence since 1902 and we have evolved over the years to become a Community Concert Band with a membership of 40+ members. We no longer march, or wear kilts, and we perform public and private concerts throughout the calendar year. We are mostly funded by the Cambridge Charitable Bingo Center and the Music Directorship is a paid position. A successful candidate for Director would have experience with regards to: Conducting a group of musicians Music repertoire selection to match skill level of a group Development of rehearsal strategies Membership encouragement and growth Public performance concert planningDue to Covid-19 restrictions, the Board of Directors will be accepting resumes and conducting interviews via Zoom.
