The Enterprise Applications Manager/Director will be responsible for ensuring the enterprise IT Finance, Accounts Payable / Receivable, Procurement, Human Resources, Recruiting, Payroll, Time Entry, Learning and other corporate systems are operational, evolving with both technology capabilities and corporate needs, and the support partners are meeting our IT operations performance targets. The systems to be managed are Ceridian Dayforce for Human Resources, Payroll, LMS, Time Entry, Recruiting and Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance including Procurement, T&E, AP, AR. This will be achieved by developing IT enhancement roadmaps, supporting upgrades, assessing IT operations performance improvement, and directing our third-party partners (adding to or replacing them as appropriate). This role will work together with the head of IT infrastructure operations to ensure help desk support, on/ off boarding, escalated support, and other IT support needs are aligned to make day-to-day as easy as possible for our employee base.

This position reports to the Chief Information Officer, based in Houston, Texas, and will manage third party applications providers and service delivery partners supporting 40+ locations and more than 5,000 people.

SKILLS & CRITICAL TASKS

  • Extremely organized, able to plan out process improvement plans and monitor adherence to company-defined requirements and key performance indicators
  • Strong experience directing and managing IT support partners (systems integrators and IT support) and service desk / escalation models (Tier 0 – Tier 4)
  • Experienced with on/near/offshore support models
  • Expert at working with system’s stakeholders to support new enhancement / functionality requests; prioritization and justification of them; roll out mapping.
  • Expert at managing system upgrades and testing of upgrades and interfaces.
  • Strong familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance AND/OR Ceridian Dayforce HR & Payroll. Preferably familiar with both.
  • Familiar with business functionality in HR, Payroll, Time Entry, LMS, Finance, GL, AR, AP, Expenses, Procurement, Reporting, union pay table models.
  • Experience in O&G, Industrial Services, Manufacturing, Construction or similar industry that leverage union and non-union craft / billable labor.
  • Familiar leveraging Microsoft Power BI for report creation and analysis.
  • Familiar with datalike models.
  • Team player / leader who takes initiative, strives for continuous improvement, able to think and act independently, challenges positively, and can counsel and provide advice to employees and managers on enhancing system capabilities to support the business

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience with designing and supporting enterprise applications
  • Must have 5+ years’ experience with Dynamics for Finance and/or Dayforce
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in vendor management – specifically with systems integrators and IT support partners
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Multi-country support experience – preferably including Canada and United States
  • Ability to travel in US and Canada as needed
