Director of Sales (Hybrid)About the Role:H.M.S. Careers Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Director of Sales to oversee the sales and marketing efforts for our premier meeting facility in Eastern Ontario. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales professionals and driving revenue growth through effective sales strategies and exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue targets.Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, training, and support.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry partners.Negotiate contracts and manage the sales process from lead generation to closing.Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.Collaborate with operations teams to ensure seamless execution of events and services.Manage sales and marketing budgets and track performance against key metrics.Qualifications:Proven track record in sales leadership within the hospitality industry.Canadian citizen or permanent resident with extensive experience in the Canadian hospitality market.Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles and techniques.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to lead and motivate a team.Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred.Bilingualism (English and French) is a plus.Flexibility to work in a hybrid work environment.About H.M.S.
