DESCRIPTION OF THE POSITION:

The Associate, Corporate Partnerships will work with the Corporate Partnerships team and other partners (the Hospital, Foundation and third parties), to manage corporate relationships with new, active and lapsed corporate supporters, across all sectors who give under $20,000 annually.

The Associate, Corporate Partnerships will project manage and execute the workplace giving/employee engagement programs across the Corporate Partnerships team to drive campaigns and loyalty to SickKids with employee groups. The Associate will work in collaboration and report directly to the Director, Corporate Partnerships.

You will

  • Work collaboratively with the Corporate Partnership team to manage a portfolio of 100 + corporate supporters who give under $20,000 annually;
  • Identify and cross sell opportunities within other SickKids Foundation offerings for employee fundraising groups to take part in;
  • Assist with cultivation, stewardship and solicitation of donors across all industry sectors and identify those ready to upgrade experience;
  • Manage Corporate partnerships inbox, respond to inquiries and qualify prospects;
  • Ensure outcome of donor meetings and follow-up actions are recorded in the donor database (known as ‘KYDS’);
  • Support corporate donors in the building and management of online donation pages.
  • Working with the Director, Corporate Partnerships and collaboratively with other Foundation teams, continually enhance and improve turn-key workplace giving program, and project management the execution of the recognition program Work closely with the appropriate Foundation teams to deliver annual digital stewardship program for corporate partners and employee donors;
  • Cultivate effective relationships within the hospital to support volunteer opportunities, donor cultivation, solicitation and stewardship;
  • Keep on top of trends as it relates to employee engagement and giving;
  • Participate on cross-functional projects as requested and support Relationship Managers as needed;
  • Represent and speak on behalf of SickKids at corporate events;
  • Ad-hod tasks as assigned.

Required Skills

Qualifications :

While we know that for any job posting no one candidate will possess the qualifications being sought in equal measure, below is an outline of the qualifications we believe are important for a candidate to bring to the position or for the successful candidate to develop while in the role:

  • University degree or community college diploma with a focus in marketing, fundraising, sales or related field;
  • 3-5 years’ experience in fundraising or equivalent experience;
  • Superior communication skills in addition to well-developed presentation abilities;
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft 365;
  • Ability to think strategically, be creative and work independently in driving new initiatives or enhancing existing programs;
  • Excellent project management skills;
  • Ability to constantly re-prioritize work in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment;
  • Organized, detail orientated and with exceptional follow-through;
  • Exceptional team player and relationship builder;
  • Experience in Corporate solicitation, selling sponsorships and engaging groups in Peer to Peer fundraising will be considered an asset;
  • Understanding of how to best engage with companies through digital communication channels will be considered an asset;
  • Experience with a donor database Blackbaud/Raiser’s Edge will be an asset;
  • Experience in working with employee giving platforms (eg. Benevity, OneCause, Cybergrants).

Total Compensation Package:

Hiring Salary Range : $68,337.00– $ 80,396.00; with the ability to progress to a maximum of $96,476.00. To ensure fair and equitable pay at SickKids Foundation, placement on the salary range will be based on your years of experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the Associate, Corporate Partnership.

Hours: 35-hour work week, flexible work options available
