Job Title: Insurance ConsultantAs a key member of our team at Western Financial, you will play a vital role in helping our customers protect what matters most to them. We are seeking an experienced Insurance Consultant to join our team in Winnipeg, MB.About the RoleThis is a full-time, permanent position that requires a strong understanding of commercial insurance and the ability to build lasting relationships with customers. As an Insurance Consultant, you will be responsible for meeting sales targets through quotes and referrals, providing renewal quotes and selling new policies to customers, and managing and building customer relationships.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide renewal quotes and sell new policies to customers via phone and emailWork consultatively with customers on obtaining their business insuranceManage and build customer relationships and meet insurance sales targetsFollow up on all client accounts to resolve outstanding activitiesConduct sales calls for new business and make timely renewal calls for existing customer businessRequirementsGeneral Level 1 Insurance License is required - General Level 2 is a strong assetAt least 2 years of experience within the Commercial Insurance industry working with complex and high-value policiesProficient in navigating multiple computer programsAbility to communicate professionally in-person, over the phone, and through emailPrior experience achieving sales targets in a similar or comparable roleWhat We OfferWe take pride in providing a competitive compensation package that includes 3 weeks' vacation, 14 wellness days, company matching investment and savings programs, and 100% employer-paid group benefits, including a health care spending account.
