Our Director – Manitoba operations will provide leadership and implement organizational strategies to ensure that our customers receive their products meeting the high quality standards offered at Berger. You will be part of a management team that oversees all manufacturing and field operations for all of our plants in Canada and the United States.Responsibilities:Develop initiatives to achieve a level of performance, quality and safety that meets the production objectives;Promote Berger values in our plants and lead people in order to create an environment that promotes teamwork;Suggest improvements to maximize operations and achieve customer satisfaction while respecting operating costs and production goals;Bring your expertise in production management in a fast-paced and automated environment where you will have to contribute to establishing optimal production schedules and working methods;Identify and nurture the talents of existing employees in order to help them grow in their career at Berger;Participate in the follow-up and control of budgets, annual planning and the identification of ratios.CANDIDATE PROFILE:Hold a bachelor’s degree in administration, engineering or any combination of relevant training and experience will be considered;10 to 15 years of experience in manufacturing environments;Experience with multi-sites management;Demonstrate the ability to lead people and has strong leadership skills;Demonstrate excellent teamwork and problem-solving skills;Recognized for being a motivated problem solver;Open to occasional travel;Being proficient in French is an asset.*The salary posted does not necessarily correspond to the salary range established for this position.
