They are excited to read more about what amazing things you could add to D2L.  Job Summary: As a Knowledge Specialist, you will collaborate with the Knowledge and Localization Team to provide multi-lingual content for our customers. Your main responsibilities will include creating how-to video tutorials in multiple languages, conducting quality-assurance reviews of our product translations, and acquiring multi-lingual product screenshots for our help documentation and release notes. Additionally, you will work with the team to address client needs for multi-lingual content. As a successful Knowledge Specialist, you will quickly learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and processes with ease. How Will I Make an Impact? Work with the Knowledge Team to develop how-to video tutorials. Partner with the Localization Team to ensure the quality of product translations. Collaborate with the Knowledge and Localization Team to produce and distribute multi-lingual content. Oversee and manage publishing queues to review and publish content created by D2L colleagues. What you’ll bring to the role: Must have:  Proactive and independent work ethic in a demanding environment. Excellent problem-solving abilities. Fluency in at least one language other than English (preferably Canadian French, Mexican Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Dutch, or Arabic). Capability to independently complete all deliverables related to customer and D2L needs in a timely and trackable manner. Nice to have: Experience with GitHub as a platform for version control. Experience with MadCap Flare as a content management system. Experience in technical writing, particularly for software and process documentation. Experience with Canvas in creating how-to video tutorials. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Currently enrolled in a university or college program with a co-op option.  Completion of courses in the areas of communication, technical writing, rhetoric, and/or courses with a strong persuasive writing component considered an asset. The expected weekly salary range for a student hire in this role is listed below. The base salary offered is determined by each candidate’s relevant knowledge, skills, education, training and experience. It is aligned to ensure both internal and external competitiveness using market data for the geographic location and school specific salary surveys.  Weekly Salary Range$725—$996 USD Don’t meet every single requirement?
