Position Summary:

The Category Management Coordinator is an analytical problem solver who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Working closely with our Category Management teams, this position will support several critical functions including product gap reporting, Vendor revenue reporting and harmonization, maintaining the data integrity of product information in our system and Vendor communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compile, print, and distribute various accurate reporting on a daily, weekly, and quarterly basis.
  • Conduct Vendor Revenue tracking and analysis.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on Market Share reporting – ie Direct Link.
  • Collaborate with Category Managers, Sales, Supply Planners, and other departments to align category strategies and drive overall business growth.
  • Coordinate and maintain data integrity for all product information.
  • Priority code management.
  • Support the Capital program and harmonization analysis including detailed listing requirements.
  • Conduct ongoing ECR analysis, to maintain integrity and opportunity alignment/execution.
  • Manage all Vendor communication for Marketing activities
  • Oversee the debit process with our vendors for all Marketing activities
  • Manage reporting for Foodshow including any floor stock protection requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of post secondary education in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years experience in a similar role considered an asset.
  • Advanced-level computer skills including Microsoft Excel and comfortable with various software applications.
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in data analysis.
  • Highly organized with strong time-management skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a strong command of English language.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
  • Must be detail-oriented, with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
  • Demonstrated initiative to work effectively on an independent basis, and within a team environment.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
