Flight Attendants are ambassadors of safety and customer service onboard each Perimeter flight. Perimeter Flight Attendants take pride in putting their best foot forward to offer a safe and comfortable environment for all passengers; they make an immediate and lasting positive impression. Three locations to choose from, Winnipeg (WPG)Flight attendant positions available in Winnipeg MB (YWG), Thompson MB (YTH), and Timmins ON (YTS).Personal CharacteristicsExcellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skillsMust have a positive attitude and work well unsupervisedBe able to handle stressful situations in a calm and effective mannerBe a team playerBe conscientious and confidentHave a can-do and will-do attitudeResponsibilities and AccountabilitiesParticipate in crew briefings and obtain necessary flight informationConduct preflight checks of the aircraft and ensure that all emergency and safety equipment and commissary are prepared for flightMake safety and service announcements/demonstrationsPrepare cabin for take-off, landing and monitoring inflightOffer a selection of snacks/beverages and ensure the safekeeping of revenues obtained during flight in an organized/professional manner.Provide leadership, direction and assistance to passengers and colleaguesCabin preparation and groomingPre-flight and post flight paperworkStock and re-stock the aircraft commissaryPerform all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures and all regulatory requirementsAbility to successfully complete a minimum three-week initial training program including written and practical examsSensitivity to the unique environmental, cultural and business needs of diverse northern cultures and communitiesOther duties as assignedEducation and ExperienceHigh School diploma or equivalentMinimum 1-2 years Customer Service experienceUniversity/college experience an assetInflight Institute CT-201 course is an asset for initial hire, not a requirementMust be fluent in English; additional languages an assetWorking ConditionsMust be willing to work flexible hours, up to 14-hour daysMust be willing to work weekends and statutory holidaysMust be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent ResidentMust possess a valid PassportMust be able to obtain and retain an Airport Restricted Area Pass in accordance with the Airport Restricted Area Access Clearance ProgramAbility to meet aviation medical standardsHow to ApplyTo apply for this position, please submit your cover letter and resume.We thank all candidates for their interest in the position; however only those selected for an interview will be contacted. #J-18808-Ljbffr
