Job Purpose

We are seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to join the Debt Management Division within the Treasury Management Department of our client. The role is pivotal in managing and optimizing the company's global assets, cash flows, and investment banking relationships. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of corporate finance, loan administration, and bank relationships, along with technical expertise in managing loan administration systems and drafting management reports.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with legal and investor relations teams to prepare materials for potential investors.
  • Assist in formulating and implementing financing strategies and policies to ensure financial flexibility.
  • Administer the company's multi-billion dollar credit facilities, including processing payments.
  • Test financial controls and ensure compliance with guidelines and controls.
  • Draft and issue credit facility reports to management and external parties.
  • Review credit facility agreements with legal departments.
  • Provide financial support to joint ventures as needed.
  • Ensure accurate recording of loan accruals/records in collaboration with Accounting.
  • Ensure compliance with debt covenants and reporting requirements.
  • Train and develop junior staff members.
  • Assess cash funding requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Interact with executives across the investment banking community.
  • Assist in structuring, pricing, and negotiating debt issuances.

Education & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting required; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum seven years of relevant experience in the Oil and Gas industry or leading a Debt Capital Markets team.
  • Financial certification preferred (CPA, CMA, CTP, or CFA).
  • Experience with corporate credit rating requirements.
  • Ability to advise senior management effectively.
  • Proficiency in negotiating complex legal agreements and banking documents.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix organization and with multidisciplinary teams to deliver results.
