Conveniently located near the International Convention Center and the main tourist hub, Naama Bay, Rixos Golf Villas & Suites accommodates families and couples only.Job Description:Share responsibility with the Shift Engineer for all technical operations related to the hotel.Ensure that all units, facilities, and equipment in the hotel are operational, maintained, and repaired.Conduct periodic maintenance and repairs for all buildings, machines, and equipment.Assign facility employees or outsource maintenance and repair tasks to quality service providers.Protect the hotel against fires and natural disasters, training employees in this area.Participate in Emergency Response Teams and lead the Fire Extinguishing Team.Ensure technical service workshops and storage houses are operational.Take periodic water samples for analysis and document results.Respond to repair requests from guests, employees, and management in a timely manner.Cooperate with other departments for energy control and savings.Train employees on energy control and savings.Analyze hotel tools and machines for annual energy-saving programs.Identify external subcontractors and vendors that meet quality standards.Prepare inventory lists of departmental spare parts, tools, and supplies.Deliver necessary training to departmental employees.Prepare fit-out schedules to ensure compliance with applicable laws.Maintain a clean and orderly work environment in the department.Ensure compliance with legal controls for technical units.Manage and audit the department according to hotel policies and procedures.Participate in the Food Safety Team and attend MR meetings.Carry out responsibilities related to quality management systems.Perform other duties as assigned by management.Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety measures.Qualifications:Education: At least a vocational college diploma.Experience: Minimum of 6 years of related work experience or 2 years in a lower position with relevant experience.Foreign Language: Intermediate level English.Courses and Training: Required attendance in relevant courses and seminars.Computer Literacy: Proficient in MS Office applications and automation knowledge.Skills: Detailed command of systems/legislation in the related field with the ability to consult other employees. #J-18808-Ljbffr
