Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Work Setting:

1. Offshore drilling rig

Tasks:

1. Operate main engines, machinery, and auxiliary equipment on ships
2. Supervise and co-ordinate activities of engine room crew
3. Stand engine room watch, monitoring and noting performance of engines, machinery, and all auxiliary equipment
4. Maintain records and prepare reports on engine performance and failures
