Field Crop 10 Teacher

Sask DLC requires a temporary full- time (1.0 FTE) Life Transitions, Health Science, Physical Science and Field Crop Teacher to be assigned at one of our regional campus locations across the province based on the principal residence of the successful candidates. This position is not remote or virtual work from home. The start date is as soon as possible based on the availability of the successful candidate and concludes January 30, 2025, with the possibility of being extended based on Semester 2 enrolment.

The teaching assignment will include Life Transitions, Health and Physical Science, and Field Crop Saskatchewan Curriculum.

Experience in secondary science, agriculture, online teaching, or online program supervision would be considered an asset.

Sask DLC delivers online learning programs to students across the province. Our head office is located in Kenaston, with an administrative office in Regina, and nine regional campuses located in Swift Current, Moose Jaw, Estevan, Yorkton, Saskatoon, Nipawin, Prince Albert, Neilburg and La Ronge.

As an online instructor, you will work with students in an online environment and will in most cases, be the primary point of contact for our students. We are looking to recruit teachers who seek to understand the challenges of online learning and strive to create real connections with our students, bridging the distance between them.

Experience with technologies such as Clevr, Moodle, MySchoolSask, and online communication software would be considered an asset.
